BRADENTON, FL — When hurricanes threaten Florida, millions of eyes turn to Mike Boylan. Now, the fearless weatherman is once again stepping directly into the chaos.
Mike Boylan, founder of the wildly popular Mike’s Weather Page, is officially returning to The Florida Man Games as Team General Manager for the Pinellas County Drunk Donkeys, bringing his storm-tested leadership back to Florida’s most outrageous sporting event.
Boylan has built a massive following by doing what few sane people dare: placing himself at the center of major storms, delivering real-time, no-nonsense updates while hurricanes make landfall. When Florida braces for impact, Mike Boylan becomes appointment viewing. Now, he’s bringing that same energy, grit, and Florida-first mentality to the competition floor.
“Mike doesn’t just track storms, he runs straight into them,” said Pete Melfi, Founder of The Florida Man Games. “That’s exactly the mindset we want leading one of our most unhinged teams. The Drunk Donkeys are in very good hands.”
A Natural Fit for Florida’s Wildest Team
As GM of the Pinellas County Drunk Donkeys, Boylan will oversee team strategy, competitor selection, and preparation for events that test athleticism, absurdity, and pure Florida survival instincts. From hurricanes to human chaos, Boylan knows how to keep calm when everything around him is spinning.
This marks Boylan’s return to the Games after becoming a fan-favorite presence in previous editions, where his blend of credibility, humor, and authentic Florida grit resonated with both competitors and fans alike.
About The Florida Man Games
Dubbed “Comedy Meets Combat Sports,” The Florida Man Games is a nationally recognized live event that transforms Florida’s most infamous headlines into real-life athletic competitions. Events include fan-favorite spectacles like the Evading Arrest Obstacle Course, where competitors run from actual police officers while hauling catalytic converters, along with a slate of new and returning challenges that celebrate Florida’s legendary chaos.
Beyond the main competitions, all attendees are invited to jump into the madness themselves, with interactive fan games including Human Beer Pong, the infamous Mechanical Gator, and a fully mobile Rage Room Trailer, where fans can literally smash their stress away.
The 2026 edition of The Florida Man Games will take place on February 21, 2026, at the Freedom Factory in Bradenton, Florida, a venue owned by YouTuber and NASCAR driver Cleetus McFarland.
Storm Season Never Ends in Florida
With Mike Boylan back in the mix, one thing is certain: whether it’s a Category 5 hurricane or a Category 5 Florida Man, the Drunk Donkeys are ready.
More team announcements, celebrity participants, and competition reveals are expected in the coming weeks.
